On behalf of Zurich, AMS are looking for an ER Consultant for a 12 month contract based in Whiteley - hybrid working.

In the UK, Zurich provide a suite of general insurance products covering business, casualty, motor, property and travel insurance, life insurance and pensions products to individuals and corporate customers. We employ over 4,500 people in the UK and are based across a number of locations with our head office being in Swindon.
Purpose of the Role:
You will be working on a wide range of tasks that encompass the daily business-as-usual (BAU) activities. These tasks include supporting managers in various areas such as managing change processes, overseeing probation periods, assessing capability, handling disciplinary actions, and addressing grievances.
As an ER Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Managing and organising your workload as the majority of the work is to focus on and deliver case load.
- Supporting managers with cases - be a coach/advisor/consultant. You will need to be able to guide managers on correct process, how to handle ER situations and ensure that any documentation sent out is worded correctly e.g. letters, outcomes etc.
- Advising managers on what steps to take.
- This is less of a lead role and more consultative, you will not be required to attend meetings or take minutes.
- Supporting Managers throughout the UK via Microsoft Teams, ensuring strong communication during calls and deliver help within script writing.
- Supporting managers in group functions in other countries that have UK employees if needed.
- Working on complex cases including, Probation activity, Performance Management, Disciplinary, Grievance, Mediation, Settlements, Tribunals.
What we require from the candidate:
- Stakeholder Management experience.
- An 'all-rounder' in terms of knowledge, not a specialist in one area.
- Experience of being more of an advisor/consultant to managers.
- Able to deal with multiple cases at the same time.
- Financial Services experience is beneficial.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Can work within a fast-paced team environment.
